Blue Sound Multimedia is gearing up to produce a powerful People’s Security and Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign Movie titled Barauniya Shamdiyya (The Fallen Shamdiyya).

Set in the bustling city of Kano, the movie tells the gripping story of Shamdiyya, a young woman driven by poverty, lack of education, and a broken support system. Leading a gang of young men in a series of mobile phone thefts, her world begins to unravel as the stakes rise and the police close in.

Barauniya Shamdiyya is set to be produced by TY Shaban and directed by the acclaimed Kamal S. Alkali.
