  1. I am realy very happy with you kannywood sters, because when ever i was in a bad mood you are among the things that making me to be enjoy, ammaze, happy, comfortable and what so ever in that very day.for that reasion i muaz dan kusada greet the entierity members. thanks you all.

  2. Take every change you get in life, because some things anly happen once. God bless you UMAR M SHARIFF you are the my best Hausa lyrics.

  3. Whenever i watch a subtitled hausa movie with non-hausa friends, i hide my face in shame. May be recognizing those who make the subtitle with an award can make people like me able to discurse on hausa movies with non hausas. And to the movie makers, “try the writers of this blog for standard english”

  4. Thank you all for your comments. Ummulkhair your observation would be considered insha Allah. Tha only problem is out of 20 movies you hardly see 5 of them with subtitles. Nevertheless we’ll surely look at it.

  5. This is a very welcomed development; I really like the idea of introducing the category of debut actor for male and female, because, like Bollywood, Kannywood is getting debutantes every now and then. So it’s very encouraging to have awards appreciating such talents. More power to your elbow, the sponsors of Starlink Awards. And thank you, the writers of this blog spot, for keeping us updated on Kannywood’s issues.

  6. I lov those people in kannywood like “maryam gidado, rahama hassan and nafeesat abdullahi” God can make the one of you. Ameeen

  7. The awards were really given to those dat deserve it,more grease to your elbows but my question here is why is it that of all the categories for the award, thier was nothing like “best subtitle” is it that those of us that do movie subtitles are not considered part of the industry? Why are we sidelined? It is as a result of our efforts dat hausa movies are being watched even by non-hausas, i think it will be only fair if we are also appreciated!
